Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is one of the most representative experiential behavior therapies in the new generation of Cognitive and Behavior Therapy, named as“contextual cognitive behavioral therapy”. The theoretical foundation of ACT is Relational Frame Theory (RFT) based on the philosophy of functional contextualism, which suggests that the main psychological problem derived from verbal and cognitive interaction with environment, leading to behaviors contrary to long-term values and psychological inflexibility. ACT aims to enhance the psychological flexibility in order to help clients devote to valuable and meaningful live, with mindfulness, acceptance, defusion, self as context, value and committed action as well as flexible treatment techniques. The author reviewed the philosophy background, theoretical foundation, psychopathology, therapeutic model, and effectiveness of rehabilitation with disabilities, so as to promote a better understanding of the new cognitive and behavior therapy as well as the significance and value of the new approach with cancer patients.%接纳与承诺疗法是新一代认知行为疗法中具有代表性的经验性行为治疗方法。
