Thai state PTT Exploration and Production (PTTEP) has cut its five-year investment plan by 27% on the back of lower oil prices and now plans to spend $17.765 billion over the 2016-20 period. This is $6.5 billion less than last year's investment plan, which envisaged spending around $24.3 billion in the five-year period to 2019, and lower than the $27.28 billion budget for 2014-18 (IOD Dec.26'14).
