We have elucidated the kinetic behaviour of rifampicin (Rfp = 30 mg/kg b.w.), pyrazinamide (Pza = 50 mg/kg b.w.) and streptomycin (Stm = 25 mg/kg b.w.) following once daily administration for three consecutive days, alone or in combination in feed (pellets) to four beef calves. Stm was never detected in blood (>=0,1 #mu#g/ml); Rfp levels increased over the three days, while Pza levels were greater than 0,2 #mu#g/ml from the 1 st to the 4th hour after each administration. No difference in the kinetic behaviour was observed when the drugs were administered alone or combined.
