Petro-chemical wastes are always carcinogenic and toxic. Various methods such as physical, chemical and biological methods have been used to degrade these pollutants in wastewater. In this paper, development status and trends of photocatalyst for degradation of petrochemical pollutants were introduced, including principle of photodegradation, action and its ecological toxicity of various photocatalysts, influencing factors of efficiency. A lot of laboratory researches on the photodegradation have been carried out. However, further elaborative research is needed for successful application of the laboratory scale techniques into pilot-scale operation and developing environmental friendly catalysts..%石油化工污染物多是有毒,甚至致癌的.人们已经应用了各种物理、化学、生物方法对工业废水中的污染物进行降解.对利用光催化剂对石化废料进行光降解的现状及趋势进行了概括,包括光降解法的原理、多种光催化剂的作用及其生态毒性、光降解效率的影响因素.目前,已经有大量的关于光降解的室内试验研究,但是为了将室内试验技术成功应用于现场,开发环境友好的催化剂,以及研发耗能更少、在污染物脱矿质过程中更高效的方法,还需开展进一步的详细研究.
